Romanian scholar visits ABU, gives lecture on Basics in Total Quality Management
Ioana Mihaela Balan of the University of Life Science, Timișoara, Romania, has given a lecture at a symposium on “Basics in Total Quality Management” organised by the Directorate of Advancement and International Education, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The scholar, who is an Associate Professor at the Romanian University, explained that the quality control circle and its activities have been adopted by many countries with national programmes.
The event, which took place at the Assembly on Friday, 26th July 2024 was well attended by both staff and students of Ahmadu Bello University.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, who declared the symposium open was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Ahmed Doko Ibrahim.
Prof. Bala appreciated the Romanian University for a number of collaborations the two universities have for the last four years, particularly on Erasmus+ programme, believing that the lecture would be of great importance to the system.
