German scholar in ABU, visits Vice-Chancellor
Prof. Dr. H.S. Narra of University of Rostock, Germany has arrived in Ahmadu Bello University for a three-day working visit.
During the visit he and ABU officials will discuss the modus operandi of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on some academic activities earlier signed in October last year by both institutions.
The Head, Department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering, Prof. Henry E. Igbadun, who facilitated the collaboration with his team, expressed appreciation for the finalisation of collaboration and hoped for more in other areas.
The Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Kabiru Bala, expressed excitement over the development, saying the future belongs to science and technology.
Prof. Bala, who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Raymond Bako, assured them of Management support and expressed confidence that the team would succeed.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Advancement, Prof. Aliyu Rafindadi Sanusi, commended the Department, its staff and students for finding areas of collaboration and relentlessly pushing for the MoU.
The courtesy call was attended by members of Management, Dean of Engineering, and other Heads of Department.
