ABU signs MoU with Chinese varsity on joint research, academic events
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, (MoU) with Jilin Agricultural University, China.
The MoU was signed in recognition of the mutual benefits of promoting scholarly activities and international understanding.
It was signed with the purpose of facilitating joint activities, which include; collaborative research projects, academic exchanges and joint academic reports. The MoU will cover areas of joint research projects, academic exchanges, including faculty and students visits and joint organization of academic events, such as workshops and conferences.
Furthermore, the MoU does not create any legally binding obligations, but specific arrangements will be documented in separate legal agreements.
The MoU is for a period of five years, with effect from September 5, 2024 and may be extended or renewed by mutual agreement.
Consequently, the Senate of Ahmadu Bello University noted and congratulated the University on the development at its 540th (Regular) Meeting held on Thursday, 26th September, 2024.
