Staff members of Management Sciences Faculty visit ABU new DVC Administration
Teaching and non-teaching staff of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Ahmadu Bello University, have visited the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Prof Bello Sabo.
The members, led by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof Idris Ahmed Aliyu, were received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration himself in his office.
Speaking, the Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof Idris Ahmed Aliyu, stated that they only came to congratulate him.
The Dean said Prof Sabo’s appointment was a reflection of the Faculty’s capacity in the iniversity.
According to him, they knew Prof Sabo and what he represented since when he Head of Department and Dean respectively.
He expressed optimism that Prof Sabo would succeed in his new assignment and prayed to Almighty Allah to be his guide.
In his remark, a former Director of the Institute of Administration, Prof Mohammed Nasiru Maiturare, described Sabo’s appointment as well deserved.
Responding, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Prof Bello Sabo, expressed gratitude to staff members of the Faculty for the visit.
Prof Sabo said he would try as much as possible to justify the confidence reposed in him by the University Senate.
He said he would continue with his teaching and supervision of MSc and PhD students.
Prof Sabo thanked Prof Maiturare and Prof Sheikh Ahmad Abdallah for mentoring him in academic and administrative duties.
