ABU, NSITF to organise public lecture on employees compensation
Ahmadu Bello University will collaborate with Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) to organise a public lecture on modalities for the implementation of the Employees Compensation Scheme in line with the Federal Government directives.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, disclosed this when the Zaria Branch Manager of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Mr. Yusuf Shamaki, called on him.
Prof. Bala directed that the Registry of the University should liaise with the Fund to make all the necessary arrangements to host the public lecture.
Earlier in his remarks, the Manager, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Zaria Branch, Mr. Yusuf. Shamaki, told the Vice-Chancellor that he visited him along with his management team to intimate him of the Fund’s activities.
The visit availed both sides, an opportunity to discuss important issues to do with relevant working conditions of staff in relation to the NSITF Scheme, especially, the gap between retirement and work.
Those, who accompanied the Zaria Branch Manager of NSITF, included Head of Enforcement, Maimuna Zubairu; Admin Manager, Danjuma Usman; and Branch Accountant, Sani Baba.
