Ahmadu Bello University is set to start its ICT network infrastructure refresh as it took delivery of high capacity equipment for the project.

Already, the technical team for the ABU ICT network infrastructure revamp in Ahmadu Bello University is finalising high level designs for the start of the work.

The institution initiated a network refresh using Huawei products and technologies. This is in support of the university management efforts in transforming ABU into a smart campus.

Huawei Technologies Nig. Ltd and Signal Alliance are partners in the project. The partnership began with MoU signing on Wednesday, 14th January, 2026.

The project, ‘Network Infrastructure Refresh Project: Huawei Smart Campus for ABU’, was initiated to address the university campus ICT needs.
