Two-week training on artificial insemination for service providers begins at NAPRI
A two-week intensive training on artificial insemination for service providers has begun at the National Animal Production Research Institute (NAPRI), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The training is jointly put together by NAPRI and Bauchi State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES).
The event, which is being hosted at the NAPRI headquarters in Shika, Zaria, commenced on Wednesday, 20th November, 2024.
The two-week participatory training programme will be concluded on Wednesday, 4th December, 2024.
The training will equip participants with cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on skills in artificial insemination, covering both theoretical and practical aspects.
The Executive Director, National Animal Production Research Institute (NAPRI), Prof Muhammad Rabiu Hassan, declared the training session open.
Prof Hassan stressed that “NAPRI remains committed to driving research, innovation, and capacity building in animal production”.
“This participatory training programme underscores our dedication to improving Nigeria’s livestock sector”, he said.
