FIRS awards ABU certificate of appreciation for tax compliance
The Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) has presented a certificate of appreciation to Ahmadu Bello University in recognition of its dedication and tax compliance in the remittance of accrued taxes to the government.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Prof. Raymond Bako, received the certificate in Zaria today (Thursday, 17th October, 2021) on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, and the University Management.
Prof. Bako expressed the University’s gratitude to the tax agency for deeming it necessary to honor the University.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor pledged the University’s commitment to meet its tax obligations to the government.
The University Bursar, Malam Mohammed Bello Aminu Gurin, was also there while receiving the certificate.
