CUSTECH officials in ABU to understudy registry structure
The Registrar, Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State, Mrs. Yakubu Glory Ojochogu, has led a team of officials from the institution on a working visit to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The Registrar and her team are in ABU to understudy its administrative structure in order to set up the registry department of the new university.
The team had earlier paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Adamu Ahmed.
The Registrar told the Vice-Chancellor that they wanted to gain insight into the duties, responsibilities, and designations of staff across various administrative units.
She said as a growing institution, CUSTECH was committed to establishing a robust administrative structure for the new university.
Ojochogu, who is an alumnus of ABU, described her alma mater as the best place to learn from.
Responding, the Vice- Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof Adamu Ahmed, assured her of ABU’s commitment to nurturing the new institution.
Prof Ahmed, who congratulated the Registrar, was delighted to see ABU alumni attaining positions of key responsibility.
Ahmed said there were no limits to what ABU could support all upcoming institutions ranging from staff exchange, visiting and capacity building.
He assured her of ABU’s readiness to share and guide them throughout the process.
The Registrar, Ahmadu Bello University, Rabiu Samaila and other key staff of the Registry assisted the Vice-Chancellor in receiving the team.
