IRAMN delegation visits ABU, congratulates Prof Bello Sabo as DVC Admin
A delegation from the Institute of Registered Administrative Managers of Nigeria (IRAMN) has paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof Bello Sabo
Stating the purpose of the visit, the Registrar of IRAMN, Dr Oboigbe Victor, disclosed that they were at the university to congratulate Prof Bello Sabo, a distinguished Fellow of the Institute, on his recent appointment as ABU Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration.
Dr Victor said that the appointment was a testament to Prof Sabo’s track record of academy and professionalism in management and administration.
According to him, IRAMN had benefitted from Prof Sabo’s balanced blend of academy and professional perspectives, especially through the facilitation of capacity building events organised by the institute.
He said IRAMN was confident that Prof Sabo would surpass the expectations of the office during his tenure.
Responding, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Prof Bello Sabo, expressed gratitude to members of the delegation for the visit despite their tight schedules.
Prof Sabo noted that the visit underscored the regards IRAMN had for its fellows.
The DVC said that he had served as a resource person in the institute for over ten years and would continue to do so despite his new responsibility.
Prof Sabo reaffirmed his commitment to continuously assist IRAMN in every way possible.
He emphasised that so many academics had benefitted from various training and retraining of the institute, urging them to keep the spirit alive.
Prof Sabo thanked the delegation and wished them safe journey back to their destination.
