As the previous year (2019) wound down and the Universty prepared for the end-of-year break, we took a quick tour of the Arts Gallery and Sculture Garden guided by an expert in that field, Dr. Aliyu Muhammad. We also had the good luck of having the Head of Department, Dr. Ken Okoli, who spare a few minutes out of his busy schedule to give us some introductory remarks.
Please follow us in the videos below as we take a walk around Galleries to appreciate the creative ingenuity of ABUsites. And of course, there is more you can read and view about the hard-working Students humbly showing their creative works at our Students of ABU Page.

"The final year exhibition is a culmination of art works that had been done by the students over a period of four years in the studios. We select the best to exhibit and it carries 40 marks out of a hundred -- that tells you how important it is to the students' progress."

"In Arts, we must explore all sorts of opportunities. For instance, certain things in society are considered waste; but to the Artist, there is no such thing as waste. We recycle and beautify such things and make them functional. For instance this beautiful work here is done with cane sugar husk which will otherwise be burnt as waste... but in Art, there is nothing like waste!"
