Major General A.B. Ibrahim, the new Commandant of Nigerian Army Depot, who assumed office on 15th March, 2021 today paid a visit to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He intimated the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabir Bala, on his intention to not only maintain but also improve on the existing relationship between the two institutions.
“With the current insecurity bedeviling our country no one can afford to stand alone, as a stick of broom can’t sweep alone,” he said.
He assured the University on his commitment to partnering where need be.
The Vice-Chancellor said that he was looking beyond partnering on security issues and looked forward to engaging the military in lecturing at the University as subject matter experts.
He further informed the visitors on his commitment to reviving the synergy within institutions in Zaria because there was a lot to be gained from such a synergy.
