Energy/Bulking Metering Unit

The ABU Energy/Bulking Metering Unit is responsible for the distribution of power across the Institution. The objective of the Unit is to generate, upgrade and maintain standard power system and functional/efficient mechanical plants in the University.

The function of the Unit is both capital and labour intensive and cannot be executed without both. Presently, we have over fifty (50) staff spread across the Main Campus, Kongo Campus, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) Shika and School of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS) Funtua.

The Sections under the Unit are as follows:
